Tyre Rubbing

Tyre rubbing is what occurs when a tire is coming in contact with part of the car. Usually when using oversized tyres or wrong size, offset, or width will cause tyre rub.

Tyre rubbing is dangerous and can cause a tire blow out. Our recommendation is to go with the recommended overall tire size when doing OEM size or plus sizing. Using the correct size wheel and offset also plays a major roll in avoiding tyre rub.
