Toyota Racing Series starts this weekend
The quick-fire 5-round Toyota Racing Series (TRS) is set to blast off at Highlands Motorsport Park, Cromwell on Saturday with the debut race for the brand-new FT60 race car. A capacity field of 20 cars - with 18 international drivers - will see the biggest grid ever assembled in the history of TRS. And Liam carries No.1 as the defending champion. Liam’s new 2020 Red Bull helmet arrived a few days ago - a huge thanks to Bell Helmets for their continuing association. This year’s helmet is the same as used by the Formula One drivers. While most Red Bull drivers are with Arai due to contractual arrangements, Max Verstappen and Liam prefer and are supported by Bell Helmets. The new TRS race suit also arrived just in time for the series and we are pleased to confirm that this will be auctioned at the conclusion of the series for charity.
Supporting the Gut Cancer Foundation
All proceeds from Liam’s 2020 TRS race suit will go to the Gut Cancer Foundation - a full media announcement will be made in the next few days. Keep a watch on TV One News at 6pm, most likely Thursday night for a story.
