Official DTM Test Hockenheim
Liam’s leaves the UK tonight for the first official test for the DTM championship, two days at Hockenheim, Germany.
Liam and teammate Alex Albon tested at Spa last week, both sharing another AF Corse car (pictured above). There were 5 GT3 cars present at the unofficial test in Belgium, with the AF Corse car fastest by a significant margin. Here’s a look in pictures, and Liam’s thoughts on his first outing in the Ferrari 488.


“The recent Spa test was definitely a new experience. I’ve had one opportunity before to drive a GT3 car, back in New Zealand. Honestly this felt like a completely new experience again, with the track being such a different type. The pace was quite good but hard to tell being a private test. 
“For me one of the biggest positives was the fact mine and Alex’s feedback was similar and we were able to move forward in a good direction with the car balance. I’m super excited to get into the car again for the first official test, it will be interesting to see how we compare to the other teams.”
Testing is on 7 & 8th April.
